Day Two: My Crush

I doubt you’ll ever look at this. I really don’t know if I want you to read this. But part of me wants you to find it, so you can read how I feel, since I could never tell you exactly how I feel about you. I have never been good with words.

I have loved you since elementary school, you have been there for me through everything, and I have always been there for you. But I know you never felt the same way that I have. You only pretended to feel that way to not hurt my feelings. I thank you for it then, but you don’t need you to do that for me. I still love you, even though you might not love me back.

Day One: My Best Friend

Jeanette McKelvey. We don’t talk as much as I would like to. We’ve split ways a little, but thats all apart of growing up.  I miss having the the sleepovers that lasted weeks at a time, and the trips to Cherrystone. But regardless, you’re the topic of this post. I miss you a lot.

It makes me so happy to see you so in love. You and Jon are amazing together and I love the both of you. I am so incredibly happy you two found each other. You’re really happy. I know it, I can literally feel it in your eyes. I’m so happy to know you have someone you can just click with.

And you are so smart, I strive to be like you. You’re kind of my role model.

I love how we’re so alike, the same person, same music and same jokes. You are my good side, the better twin, the voice of reason I have. Thank you for all the hard times you’ve gotten me through.

You don’t hear it enough but I’m telling you now: I love you, Jeanette. Lets hang out soon :)

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when their right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust noone but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I may not always be happy with myself, but I know what I’m worth, and I’m not going to settle for any less.

Color Me Mine

Hey Everyone. I hope you don’t mind if I rant a bit. Today I was working (at Color Me Mine) with my friend Rebecca. The day was going smoothly from the time I got there at four this afternoon, until eight o’clock came along. The phone began to ring and I answer, very politely, “Thank you for calling Color Me Mine, this is Rachel speaking, how my I help you?” “I need to speak with a manager right now!”, she responds. I then say “Well, the manager isn’t in right now, but she will be in tomorrow morning.” “Well, I need to speak to someone close to a manager right now!” She says angrily. I walk down the hall towards Rebecca to hand her the phone since she is the assistant manager. So all I know is this lady is absolutely miserable. From the other side of the store I can her the lady on the phone screaming at the top of hear lungs, at Rebecca.

Days Difference

Last night, my sister Sarah, my friend Kiera, and my Mom, traveled to The Theater of the Living Arts, on South Street in Philadelphia, where we saw my favorite band, Days Difference. For those of you who don’t know who Days Difference is; They are a boy band made up of two sets of brothers: Jeremy and Jonathan, and Micah and Jeremiah. They are four friends who love what they do and are extremely dedicated to their fans. Their music always puts me in a good mood and their songs never seem to get old. My favorite one of all is Jeremy because he gives the best hugs. At the meet and greet they all signed my phone cover. These boys made my life and I will definitely be seeing them again. Please guys, listen to their music, follow them on Twitter, and buy their songs on iTunes. You’ll love them.
